about

I am originally from Brunswick, Maine; however, I have lived in Orlando almost all of my life. During high school I participated in the A.P. Art program at Lake Howell High School. I was actively engaged in after-school art and art history programs, as well as art honors, honors, and international clubs. After high school I attended Valencia College, where I majored in Fine Arts. During my time at Valencia I received the Anita S. Wooten grant, and a drawing award for my artistic efforts. I attended Rollins College where I received my undergraduate degree in Humanities while I became the co-creator of an online artist group called, ARTceen. We currently have over 260 members, and we are steadily growing. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Liberal Studies at Rollins College while actively participating in the arts.
During my early 20's I backpacked alone throughout Europe. This experience had a profound effect on me as an artist, as I discovered the majesty in life all around me. Subsequently I returned to the States fueled with creative inspiration. I believe all people are capable of utilizing a creative spark in many aspects of their life. Artistic creativity is not localized to fine arts. However technically skilled an individual may be, novelty of thought is required to be regarded as truly talented—this is a rare find, and something I strive for.
"Knowledge is an unending adventure at the edge of uncertainty."
